Upon close examination I came to the conclusion that Marty had left this very site right before I arrived.  This is what my bathroom looks like when he "forgets" to flush the toilet.

Christmas Past

Before I tuck myself into bed after a very traditional and very entertaining Christmas I feel the need to reflect on two things that were out of place; I was home and so was my brother (Ben, for those of you who dont know).  The last time I saw my brother was in Shanghai about a year ago.  Spending Christmas there made me realize what a wild and wacky Christmas I had last year.  This Christmas really helped me remember some aspects of last year.

One thing was clear...

Ben and I were 'bout that money way before Marty.

Though it was crazy it was also familiar.  

Playing ping pong in the basement is a Johnson family tradition and some things never change.

The more I think about it, I can't remember the last time no one played some sort of music for the rest of the family.  The results from China are the best in recent memory.

I can't say the same for the Christmas dinner we had.

Being out of China and away from the baby turtle made me realize how nice and relaxing the holidays can be if we dont let ourselves get caught up in the hustle and bustle.  Even all the way around the world people can lose their tempers during the holiday rush.

If you are in China or Summit during the holidays all that matters is the spirit of the people around you.  Although I wasn't with my whole family the Chinese made me feel right at home because they know what Christmas is all about.
